Ways to Support Ukraine

Please use this link to visit the Software MacKiev website. I have friends that have been impacted by the events in Ukraine. I understand that they are safe and hope they remain safe.

As you may know, RootsTech-2022 is Virtual, but in past years, it was live. The team in the Ukraine would be in Salt Lake City with use, talking about Family Tree Maker.

  1. Hi Russ! I'm just sick about what is going on in Ukraine and hope our FTM guys stay safe. I have a problem with my new laptop and think you might be able to help me. The font in Family Tree Maker is so small I can barely see it. I haven't been able to fix the problem. All other websites, etc are fine. Have you run across this?
    Thanks, Shery Hart

    1. Debbie,

Have you checked and/or changes your font size in the Windows operating system?

There is a font size setting in the Tools, Options screen. Specifically, that may not change the size of the font.

Is this issue any different from your previous computer?

Are you using the Full Screen? What, specifically, is the "small" font that you are talking about ?

      Russ

  2. Thanks for getting back to me. Yes I have tried the windows font to no avail. I am using full screen but the words are really hard to read. I don't have this problem anywhere else on my computer. I've tried the tools options but use large fonts won't stay checked. Grrr

    1. Debbie,

      "words" what words ?

I ask, because in some parts of the program you CAN increase the size of the text. I am thinking, specifically, in the Notes fields.

The other suggestion is to provide Feedback in the Help Menu.

  3. By words I mean for instance the "person" workspace. I will contact FTM but was thinking it was probably something very basic that I was missing.
    Thanks for your time, Russ
