When you rename the "file" for your FTM Tree, in additon to renaming the tree's Media folder, I believe it also renames the tree's FTM Family File and FTM Backup File...does it not?
Right...the "FTM Family File" is the .FTM file. And I wasn't thinking when I mentioned the FTM Backup file. Just backups from this point forward would have the new name.
You renamed the file "Demo_2019_1252" on FTM and "Demo_2019" on Ancestry. Don't the names have to be the same to sync?

ReplyDeleteKaye ?
DeleteI rename the FTM File, and linked Media Folder. It does NOT update anything else. ONLY the .ftm and the Media folder name.
Nothing else

Kaye,
DeleteYes, going forward, and new Back Ups will have the new filename. The Media files will be in the New Media Folder.
